CSA POLICY & TERMS
Community Supported Agriculture is a symbiotic relationship, based on trust and faith, between farmer and community. It is important to remember that us, the farmers, rely on the income of the CSA to operate our farm. We plan, seed, and tend to crops many months before they arrive in your share. We work diligently to follow through with attention to detail, quality of vegetables, and diversity of the harvest for these prepaid shares. As a member you receive top priority when crops become harvestable.
It is our job to provide you with a diversity of crops throughout each growing season. In good faith, we harvest and present to you the freshest vegetables each week.
The CSA operates on a bi-weekly or weekly basis depending on the share season. As a member it is your responsibility to pick up your share at any of the three pick up sites that you preselected. To receive the freshest produce it is important that you pick up your share on your chosen day/time. If it is not picked up on time it will be donated.
If you need to choose a different pick up day please alert us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) 2 days prior to the change. We will confirm it with you once we've received notification.
If you're planning to be away on vacation please alert us at least one week prior. This will place your share on hold, which means you will be able to pick up two shares the following pick up week.
